Tribes were awoken the morning after tribal council to two natives, who requested each team pick a leader. The women chose Scout, and the men, Lea. At the reward challenge, in a sudden twist, the team leaders were pulled aside and told to pick new tribes.
Eliza ended up again on Yasur, with Lisa, Scout, Leanne, Ami, Travis and Rory. They went on to lose the reward challenge by a tight margin, and later in the episode lost the immunity challenge as well. The immunity challenge pitted the teams against each other to find pieces of a boat in the forest, put the boat together and sail out into the ocean to collect a flag. Travis and Ami on Yasur paddled poorly and lost for the tribe.
The clashing of Ami and Travis back at camp set the tone for Travis' exit. Travis and Rory spoke about being outnumbered five to two by the already established female alliance, and tried desperately to stir the pot.
The main "stirrer" ended up being Eliza, who suggested to Scout and Lisa that the tribe may be "shooting ourselves in the foot" by voting out a strong male.
But after a debate-filled tribal council, the women stuck together and voted out Travis by a unanimous vote. With the tribes evened at six apiece, the episode brought Eliza to the 12-person mark.
