After tribal council, Lopevi came back to camp to huddle around the fire. Julie snuggled with Sarge, in a possible attempt to woo him as a partner in an alliance in the future. Back at Yasur, Rory was getting sick of his team.
"What a worthless crew," he said, referring to Eliza, Leanne and Ami. At the reward challenge, Eliza served her role admirably in the first position of a relay race, although her team ended up losing.
The guys at Lopevi were convinced that Twila and Julie were on their side, however Twila said she and Julie still have allegiances to the women in Yasur. Chris tried to make one-to-one agreements for final two alliances with Twila, Julie and Chad, attempting to secure himself a spot near the end.
When tribes got to the immunity challenge, they were told to remove their buffs and were officially merged. The challenge, then, was an individual challenge, requiring swimming and agility. Eliza advanced to the final four of the challenge with a solid finish, but, ultimately, it was Sarge who earned immunity.
The guys from Lopevi and Rory attempted to sway Twila and Julie to vote with them, while Yasur women like Ami and Eliza tried to pull Twila and Julie to vote off Rory. With the men's bloc solid against Ami, the survivors headed to tribal council.
There, much to the surprise of Chad, who was convinced Twila and Julie were on his side, Rory was voted out. The women, aligned together, took a six to three lead as Eliza moved to the final nine.
