Student arrested on charge of sexual assault

The Syracuse Police Department received a complaint regarding a sexual assault at an on-campus location Saturday from 1:30 to about 2 a.m., according to a Public Safety report.
The Syracuse University student accused of perpetrating the sexual assault and another student were assaulted outside their apartment by unidentified persons in retaliation, the report stated.
The student accused of perpetrating the sexual assault was arrested on felony charges of rape and sexual abuse at the 700 block of Irving Avenue, according to the report.
n Syracuse Police arrested an SU employee on charges of driving while intoxicated and related charges Wednesday between about 8:30 to about 9 p.m., according to a Public Safety report.
n A Public Safety officer patrolling the SU quad Saturday at about 10 a.m. spotted an individual wanted by the police in connection with larcenies at a local hospital, according to a Public Safety report.
The suspect was apprehended after a brief foot chase, the report stated.
The suspect was turned over to the Syracuse police, according to the report.
An SU student trashed his room in Day Hall and threw a plastic soda bottle at another SU student Sunday between about 9 and 9:30 p.m., according to a Public Safety report.
The Office of Greek Life and the Office of Judicial Affairs were notified, the report stated.
An SU student's personal property was stolen from his locked vehicle sometime between Feb. 12 and Feb. 26 at 6:30 p.m., according to a Public Safety report.
There were no signs of forced entry, the report stated.
An SU student's ID card was lost and used by unidentified person(s) for unauthorized purchases Saturday at 11 p.m., according to a Public Safety report.
An SU employee's property was stolen Friday sometime between about 10 to about 11 a.m., according to a Public Safety report.
