Syracuse all-time leading scorer Lawrence Moten has returned to the university to assist the men's basketball program, SU Athletics announced Tuesday in a press release.

Moten will provide "administrative and operational support to the coaches and staff," according to the press release. He will also assist the players "on personal development matters."

In addition, Moten will go back to school in order to finish his degree requirements for graduation.

Moten was selected by the Vancouver Grizzlies with the seventh pick in the second round of the 1995 NBA draft. He was a second-team All-American at SU during his senior season. He averaged 19.3 points per game in his four seasons as an Orangeman.
