The D.O. eliminated this article because it contained libelous content. Libel is the publication - in words, photos, pictures or symbols - of false statements of fact that harm another's reputation, according to the Student Press Law Center.
The paper holds itself to the highest level of journalistic integrity. The story fell short of those expectations. The D.O. apologizes for the error and to the parties involved.
