A Syracuse University student was found dead in her home Saturday afternoon, said Sgt. Tom Connellan of the Syracuse Police Department.
The student, Lisa Crowley, 21, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have ruled Crowley's death a suicide. Connellan declined to provide further details.
Police responded to the call at 560 Clarendon St., arriving at about 2 p.m. Saturday, after receiving a report of an unconscious person, Connellan said.
Crowley, of Fountain Valley, Calif., was a senior in the Martin J. Whitman School of Management.
SU Chancellor Nancy Cantor notified the university community of Crowley's death in an e-mail Saturday afternoon. The university will arrange support and counseling services, Cantor said in the e-mail.
A memorial service hasn't been set yet for Crowley, said Thomas Wolfe, senior vice president and dean of student affairs.

THIS IS NOT HEADLINE NEWS. There is NO reason this should be front page news. And considering that her family is NOT releasing information, OR THAT THE CORONER HAS NOT ESTABLISHED A CAUSE OF DEATH YET it is absolutely horrible that this was published. (Continued…)

Isn't anyone else concerned about how many SU students have died in the last year or so?

Look, the DO has made a terrible mistake, no details are known at this point. Let's make this comment section an area for people to post their reflections and memories of Lisa, something that is meaningful and helpful to those who are being effected, and NOT a place for arguing over who knows what and cursing at each other.
